Slipknot

Finally Slipknot bags it in a Best Metal Performance with Before I forget.

Slipknot knows all success and finally in 2005 Slipknot has his hands on The Grammy Awards.

After Iowa and the group decided to take a break and broke my heart.

But now they are back with ALL HOPE IS GONE and all my hope returned.

Slipknot ROCKS.

Nightwish

Power Symphonic Metal is Nightwish.

Despite having no Grammy Awards, this band has had lots of success.

It is one of my favorites with:
Nemo, She is my sin, I wish I had an angel...etc

Try it

Metallica

What could be greater than this?? METALLICA.

1989 - Best Metal Performance - One
1990 - Best Metal Performance - Stone Cold Crazy
1991 - Best Metal Performance - Metallica
1998 - Best Metal Performance - Better Than You
1999 - Best Hard Rock Performance - Whiskey In The Jar
2000 - Best Rock Instrumental Performance - The Call Of Ktulu
2003 - Best Metal Performance - St Anger

No words seem adequate to describe this band's success...

System Of A Down

System Of A Down is a band which is rather popular.

Winning the The Grammy Award in 2005 for the Best Hard Rock Performance with the track Bring Your Own Bombs (B.Y.O.B) was really rocking because thats the only song of S.O.A.D that I guess merited to be crowned.

Was Chop Suey not powerful enough?????

Korn

Korn is a band that must never be ignored. Korn with (Jonathan Davis, Fieldy, James "Munky" Shaffer, David Silveria, Brian "Head" Welch) won Grammy awards twice in 1999 and 2001.

In 1999 it was an award from the Best Short Form Music Video of Freak On A Leash.

However in 2001 Korn bagged it from the Best Metal Performance Here To Stay.

Thats great but is Thoughtless, Word Up, Alone I break etc to be ignored????

Linkin Park

Linkin Park has won the Grammy Awards in 2001 and 2005.

What concerns us here is Rock so I will count only the Rock and Metal section.

In 2001 Linkin Park(Chester Bennington, Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Joseph Hahn, Mike Shinoda) bagged the award with this track Crawling for the Best Hard Rock Performance.

Actually I guess NUMB should also have been awarded.
